How to Migrate from BTEC Home Cooking Skills to Pearson Skills for Life and Work qualifications- Wales only

In this training session our Product Manager for Pearson Skills for Life and Work qualifications, Kelly Adams, will discuss how Welsh schools can effectively migrate across from BTEC Home Cooking Skills (last reg 31/7/26) to Pearson Skills for Life (First teach Sept 2027) . 

This training session will include: 

• How to migrate to Pearson Skills for Life and Work
• How to build a similar programme to BTEC Home Cooking Skills
• How existing unit content can easily map across to the new qualification including where there are elements of strong alignment, and where gaps may need to be filled. 

Please note: This is only for Welsh 14-16 centres only. All other centres can continue to deliver BTEC Home Cooking Skills with confidence.
