Getting ready to teach the Pearson Skills for Life and Work qualification in Wales

This session is aimed at teachers of 14-16 year olds in Wales only preparing to deliver the Pearson Skills for Life and Work qualifications from September 2027.   

This live session will take you through:

• Qualification purpose and structure- the Pearson Skills for Life and Work qualification structure and what's new in these qualifications. 
• How this qualification will support qualification Wales four purposes.
• How to put together your programme in your centre and how to build subject specific programmes.
• Internal and External Assessment- PSAs, marking grids, resubmission of evidence and retakes, the moderation process and quality assurance 
• Assessment availability and delivery models- details of assessment windows and suggested models of delivery for you 
• Grading and how to calculate the overall grading. 
• Support available for you- complimentary resources and training, such as live events, bitesize videos dedicated, sample assessment materials and schemes of work.

This event can count as 1.5 Hours of CPD. You will receive a certificate of attendance the next working day after the live event.
