Details:
This live online session is the final event in a series of four and is designed to address 'frequently asked questions' raised in prior events. It is aimed at all teachers who are currently delivering Edexcel GCSE Religious Studies, or who are thinking of delivering the qualification for the first time. It provides essential information and guidance, relating to amendments made to the mark scheme for (d) item questions, designed to improve accessibility. It will also outline any incremental updates made to the specification and/or sample assessment materials.
Delegates will be provided with specific information to address issues and questions raised in the previous three events in this series.
The full series of events is as follows:
Event 1 – pre-recorded: Introduction from our senior examiners to the amended mark scheme for (d) item questions
Event 2 – live event: Live introduction and Q&A to the amended mark scheme for (d) item questions
Event 3 – pre-recorded: Delegate marking activity to support the introduction of the amended mark scheme for (d) item questions
Event 4 – live event: Live session addressing queries associated with the amended mark scheme for (d) item questions.
Please note: a recording of the event will be available to attendees only. This event can count as 1 hour of CPD. You will receive an e-certificate by email, post attendance.
