Summary - GCSE Art and Design: Face-to-Face Coursework Marking Training

These free face-to-face training events, delivered by our Art and Design specialists, support teachers marking coursework for Pearson Edexcel GCSE Art and Design.

You will:

mark Component 1 and Component 2 portfolios across a range of titles and levels from the most recent exam series
be guided by senior members of the examining team through assessment decisions
network with colleagues from other schools and discuss best practices in assessment
have the opportunity to ask our trainers questions about the course.

Registration will close 1–2 weeks before the event date. Please check the individual event for specific details.

If you can’t attend any of our face-to-face events, we also offer live online training taking place in early 2027, which you can book here. We also have a self-paced course that you can complete in your own time here.

Please note: These events count as 2.5 hours of CPD. You will receive a certificate via email after the event.
