This free online event supports teachers delivering Pearson Edexcel A Level Economics A. The session provides an in-depth look at the requirements for performing well in the 15-mark exam questions. It emphasises what students need to do to achieve the available marks in Knowledge, Analysis, Application and Evaluation for this question type.
By using exemplar student answers, the training highlights successful strategies and identifies areas for improvement.
You will:
• understand how marks are awarded in 15-mark discuss questions on Papers 1 and 2
• understand what students need to do to perform well on this question and where there is room for improvement
• review student exemplar answers
• have an opportunity to share teaching ideas and strategies.
Please note: A recording of the event will be available to attendees within three days of the event. We will also be releasing a copy on our YouTube channel, accessible via the Professional Development Academy, later in the term.
This event counts as 1 hour of CPD. You will receive a certificate via email after the event.
