Details:
This free online training supports teachers delivering Pearson Edexcel GCSE Business. The session focuses on key areas of the specification, exploring different types of production processes (job, batch and flow) and organisational structures (centralised and decentralised), as set out in sections 2.3.1 and 2.5.1. It will also consider how these concepts apply in real-world business contexts to support understanding and engagement.
You will:
• develop a clear understanding of job, batch and flow production, including their features, advantages and limitations
• explore centralised and decentralised organisational structures, and how these influence decision making and business performance
• consider common areas of misconception in past examinations
• reflect on how contemporary business examples can be used to bring these topics to life for students.
Please note: A recording of the event will be available to attendees within three days of the event. We will also be releasing a copy on our YouTube channel, accessible via the Professional Development Academy, later in the term.
This event counts as 1 hour of CPD. You will receive a certificate via email after the event.
