Some pupils find it difficult to process information quickly and retain key information in their working memory whilst completing tasks. These challenges can have a significant impact on their confidence and progress in mathematics. In this fast-paced, interactive webinar, we will explore how to identify pupils who may be experiencing difficulties with processing speed and working memory and discuss practical strategies to support them when working with Power Maths. This webinar is suitable for all primary teachers and teaching assistants working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, including those who have been formally identified as having SEND, as well as those who require additional support due to processing and memory-related challenges. Following the webinar, participants will receive a classroom action plan and a ready-to-use one-page staff meeting guide, enabling them to share key ideas and strategies easily with colleagues.
